Cannabis in My Witchcraft.

You may be thinking that I get high to astral travel, but really smoking cannabis helps me ground whilst I meditate.

I go by the meditations the book suggests then I am pulled into the astral to usually just chill with my deities and spirits but I’ve also done some work over there while high and I was able to focus more so than usual. Not saying getting high is necessary for astral travel it just helps not to get stuck there.

I also like to use it when I do readings. Check out this reading for example:

The reading was with the Priestess of Light Oracle card deck and it was a spread for what my matron deity, Hekate, wants me to focus on. Clarifying my goals as wanting to become her priestess, her guiding me, to an abundant spiritual life. The 2nd card is her very much represented with a canine, one of her animals, and her guiding hand through my studies with her.

After that I blessed and charmed my smoke blend (recipe below) to give me clarity, guidance, and abundance. Artemis, green candle, Ganesh, the elephant statue, and Kuan Yin, statue, also blessed my herbs. The crystals are K2, Kyanite, Ruby in Kyanite, amethyst, rose quartz, labradorite, blue calcite, and selenite.

My smoke blend:

  • Cannabis – luck, enhanced magick
  • Rose bud – love, self love, abundance
  • Spearmint – luck, abundance
  • Lavender – dreams, peace
  • Green tea – earth energy, zen
  • Blue lotus – lunar energy, feminine
  • Catnip – abundance, calm
  • Hibiscus – love, prosperity

If you are over 21 I HIGHly recommend using cannabis in your craft. Stay safe and happy witching!

30 Day Devotional For Your Deity.

Here is a 30 day challenge with you and your deity. For atheist friends you can replace deity with yourself.

Create a secret language with your deity and write a dedication as your introduction in your new language.

Use a song to connect and write down images, feelings, ect you saw/felt.

Write a poem about their correspondences.

Write a devotional hymn of praise.

Have a cup of tea (or tea party) and write down the conversation.

Create affirmations with your deity so that you know you’re loved.

Shadow work: Focus on your shadow self and write down what your deity wants you to work on.

Write a hymn of gratitude.

Use a card spread to connect with your deity and write down the interpretation.

Bake with you deity and write down the recipe and why They chose it.

Write a chant or two that you can use to magically connect with said deity.

Write a haiku or a few of the simple mundane aspects of your relationship.

Create a dance or stretch with a deity and write down the steps as well as how you feel connected to your deity while performing.

Create a playlist then listen to it while writing about your favorite things about your deity.

Write about why your favorite myth about your deity is your favorite.

Are there any pop culture references to your deity? If so write about why you like/dislike their portrayal.

Are there historical characters that interacted with your deity? How do you feel about them?

Who is your deity to you? Matron? Patron? Grandfather like? Write about how you met your deity and your first impressions.

Middle ground. Write about the first time you felt comfortable with your deity.

How is your relationship now and what you hope for the future?

Write a poem about how They recently made you feel.

Give three examples of Them being benevolent.

Give three examples of when They had to give you a wake up call.

Write an informative paragraph about your deity as if you were writing to a completely unknowing novice.

Create a spell together that only works if both of you do it together.

Allow your deity to make a protection contract with you.

Special bonds. Write a bonding devotional where you dedicate yourself to Them (as a devotee, priestess, fan, ect ).

Create a picture that represents Them with devotional poetry.

Go on a walk and talk with your deity. Record the conversation.

Ask for wisdom and guidance and what They expect from you. Write down their answer.

Happy Mounikhia and the “Pink” Moon!

The festival in Athens celebrating Artemis for Her bright full moonlight giving the the advantage for success.

Earlier today I helped a baby robin be reunited with his parents and sister. He was quite determined to stay on my hand but once I found the bush his family was in he hopped right off. They quickly gathered him back to his nest. Artemis approved.

But for the festival I made her these little round cakes. Not exactly amphiphontes but Artemis guided me through this recipe. She said She wanted something earthy and sweet and these definitely hit the mark.

I also filmed the pink moon the other night. It seems fitting to add it here as well since it was Her moonlight that won the battle.

Twas a lovely evening indeed!

Recipe for cakes down below and happy witching!

Unconventional Amphiphontes

  • 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 3 tbls of sugar
  • 1 tbl of honey
  • 1 tbl of poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 crushed nutmeg
  • Stirr and place in a muffin sheet
  • Oven heated at 400°F
  • Bake for 12-15 mins

Finally Finished Aphrodite!!

So I started this project about a month ago and it took me that long to figure out the color combinations I wanted.

A little recap on mine and Aphrodite’s relationship. I have been working with Her for over a decade and our relationship grew to be lovers. Since I have never seen anyone marry Aphrodite but still use the term godspouse I’m going to assume Hephaestus to be Her only legal spouse, as seen by the contracts of Hera, but naturally She has lovers. She and I have two demi-goddess children (though they are adults now) Delaphina goddess of finding one’s soulmate (note not always a sexual relationship) and Daemura who is still trying to find her passion. Both of them have purple/violet eyes so I included that into Aphrodite’s dress.

I wanted to give her rose gold hair but I think I did my best since I had to make rose gold rather than buy it. Plus, I bet itd be hella expensive for rose gold gouache.

Nevertheless Aphrodite loves Her statue and that’s all that matters! I hope to do more of these this year! So stay tuned for that. If I get good enough I’ll start making to sell but I think I need to work out some stuff first.

Thanks for reading and happy witching!
